P - Write operation to write protected media
On the bottom of the LTO tape, there is a red switch. when this lock is engaged (The lock graphic is visible) the media is write protected and the drive will not overwrite data on the cartridge.
If red switch is not covering the hole and the red lock is not visible, but the drive is still giving you a P error, please contact MagStor support.
